Manic-ure: Blood (Salvation’s Bane) by Marteeka Karland and nails by Lily & Fox

This is my Christmas post, though I didn’t get around to it until today. My nails are a Christmas wrap by Lily and Fox. I love the little Santas.

While I did my nails and wrapped presents, I listened to Blood by Marteeka Karland. It’s part of the Salvation’s Bane series and is narrated by Umi Markkanen, who makes me squee.

Triggers- memories of trafficking (no details), language, violence, sex, glitter.

Tropes- Age Gap, Instalove, Doctor/ Patient, Enemies to Lovers, I Know an Ol’ Lady. Narration review- I think Umi Markkanen is one of the best audiobook narrators out there. Story review- this book very much focuses on the relationship between the two main characters rather than a Big Bad. It’s cool.

There’s something so fun about bikers and Christmas! Listening to this is going to be one of my new holiday traditions.
