Atlas
The MMC is undercover in an evil MC. Atlas happens upon the FMC, who is about to be in a world of trouble. Bellarose took a very wrong turn on her way to her new job and developed a flat tire. Atlas stops to help her, but plans quickly change when the rest of the MC arrives. It turns out that the wrong turn was on a private road leading to the MC’s Top Seekret meeting place, and if they think Bellarose is alone, they will assume that she has been sent to spy and they will torture, S.A., and kill her. Or they will assume she is easy prey and they will torture, S.A., and make her wish she was dead. Atlas warns Bellarose not to speak under any circumstances, and then he tells the MC she is his. Let the fun begin….

Mewsings
What I liked- the story was fast paced and I was hooked from the beginning. Events happen quickly and there is plenty of action. I enjoyed the Fake Relationship because I thought that the main characters were well suited to each other and had good chemistry. And gotta love the Instalove. There is something so hawt about a biker deciding a (willing) woman is his and that he will protect her to his death. I love that intensity. I’m a total sucker for MC romance, and if the hero has long hair, a beard, and/or tattoos, I can only read it between 7 am and 11 pm or I will get in trouble for violating the building’s noise ordinance, I squee so hard. Hey, we all have our fetishes….
What I thought about the narration-Umi, the narrator, is one of my favorites. She is clear and easy to understand. Plus she’s very good at both male and female voices, and after awhile I forget that the same person is doing all of the voices. She has a pleasant tone and is good at accents. I could listen to her for days. And I have, actually. I own a number of Marteeka’s audiobooks read by Umi and I have more than once done a marathon listen. If you like MC Romance, give these books a try.
